Our LOCAL food policy: Our aim is both to support local farmers, producers and suppliers, and to help you to reduce your "food miles". We source food as locally as possible, but certain items of fruit such as oranges and mangoes will never come from Sussex, and the same applies on our fish page with mussels, salmon, etc. We always indicate which supplier your food comes from, and pass on to you their product information, so if you want to keep food miles to a minimum you can do so. As you will appreciate, weighing an exact amount of fruit, vegetables, cheese, meat and fish is tricky! Although our suppliers will try to give you the amount requested, there will be a small amount of variability. The exact weight and price of the goods ordered will be made known to you on delivery. We accept payment by cheque, and cash (which can include Lewes Pounds) and direct credit transfers.
