We provide a delivery service for residents of the locations listed on the 'Home' page. We deliver (mainly) fresh produce to your door every Friday (unless otherwise stated on the 'Home' page) bringing you the best of the season, sourced as locally as possible. Orders placed on the website are forwarded to the named suppliers (shown on each main page of the shop); we collect from them on Friday mornings in our trusty van and deliver straight to your door. Products requiring refrigeration are transported in temperature controlled conditions.
Everything is supplied from well known local suppliers and retailers who have an good reputation for providing the best quality. Our aim is to support local farmers, producers and suppliers and to help you to reduce your 'food miles'. We try to source products as locally as possible but some items will clearly never be from Sussex. We will always tell you which supplier the products come from and pass on to you their product information, so if you want to keep food miles to a minimum, you can do so.The website is updated frequently so that the prices shown are as accurate as possible and seasonal produce can be included. Weighing exact amounts of cheese, fish and meat is tricky so though our suppliers will try to give you exact amount that you would like, there will be some variability. The exact weight and price of these products will be made known to you on delivery.
There is no on-line payment - you are invoiced on delivery and you can then pay by cash (Sterling or Lewes Pounds), cheque, or credit transfer if you use internet or telephone banking.
We have no minimum order and no additional delivery charge, so forget about parking attendants, sit back, and browse through our shop!
