Our LOCAL food policy: Our aim is both to support local farmers & producers, plus to reduce your "food miles". We thus source food as locally as possible, but certain items of fruit such as oranges and mangoes will never come from Sussex (although we did have lemons from Worthing last summer!) The same will apply on our fish page with mussels, salmon, etc. We always indicate where your food comes from, so if you want to keep food miles to a minimum & do without certain foods, you can - it's your choice. Food origins vary weekly, so please check!

As you will appreciate, weighing an exact amount of fruit, vegetables, cheese, meat and fish is tricky! Although our suppliers will try to give you the amount requested, there will be a small amount of variability. The exact weight and price of the goods ordered will be made known to you on delivery. At this early stage in our venture, we accept payment by cheque, and cash (which can include Lewes Pounds) and direct credit transfers.
